Conference rankings tell a lot about college baseball. A team’s record certainly can be placed into context depending on their conference. A conference as a whole always ends up with a .500 record, so success in non-conference games is a big factor in the strength of the conference. While strength of conference and strength of schedule tell a story, it is clear that teams can be of national-caliber regardless of their conference strength.

Here are conference rankings midway through the 2026 season.

Notes:
Win-Loss % of all teams in the conference is the primary factor.
Strength of schedule is a key factor.
